Ordinary least squares trends through the 2010–2022 AWPRI, extended to 2030 with 95 per cent prediction intervals. Each country is observed in 13 years, which is too short a series for a fitted ARIMA to be identified, so none is used.

Each country carries two markers. The hollow circle is the observed 2022 AWPRI score and the filled diamond is the trend line evaluated at 2030, with a dotted connector between the two markers showing the direction of travel. Countries whose slope is not distinguishable from zero at the five per cent level are drawn faint, because for those countries the fitted line is flat and the diamond only repeats the country's own average. Of the 24 countries, 14 are drawn faint, namely Argentina, Australia, Brazil, Canada, China, Germany, Spain, Kenya, Mexico, Nigeria, New Zealand, Sweden, Thailand, South Africa.
